Anyone still up for a bit of Babylon 5 loving?
I’m trying to see if there’s any interest in another round of the Babylon 5 Love Month this year. Spread the word.
The B5 love month that Ruuger hosts each year iis one of my favorite online events, so signal boost !!!
Small question, Ruuger: would there be a way to involve tumblr in this, so that people in the B5 fandom here could participate without needing to have a Livejournal? I have an LJ and I know a few others here do too, but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t go for everyone here. And as tumblr B5 fandom is pretty big right now it would be a pity not to reach all these people, too!
Fic: Though I Walk Through the Valley, chapter 14 (of 15)
So this is the last “real” chapter, with only an epilogue to follow and one final plot point to resolve after this, and it feels… so very strange. I still need to write the epilogue, which I’ll do in the next couple of days; by that time I’ll hopefully have gathered my thoughts about this story and how intense writing it has been for me (In one word: very. *hysterical giggle*). In the meanwhile, I hope you’ll all enjoy this chapter, which brings the story back to our dear and brave Vir.
Title: Though I Walk Through the Valley (14/15)
Fandom: Babylon 5
Category/Rating: gen-ish (with some background pairings), PG-13
Story summary: What really happened during those sixteen long years in which Londo waited for the prophecies to come true? A multi-chapter story, intended to bridge the gap between Londo’s ascension to the throne and Centauri Prime’s eventual liberation from the Drakh.
(In which Vir learns the truth and, for once, doesn’t wait for the fight to come to him.)

Fic: Though I Walk Through the Valley, chapter 13 (of 15)
So I was gonna post my squee about this weekend’s con, but I need to get this out of my system first because… Oh god, you guys, I finished my Londo chapter and it hurts so much!
Even though this isn’t the last chapter yet, it almost feels like it is because so much happens and by “so much” I mean practically everything? And that’s only the abridged version - if I’d put everything in this chapter that I originally wanted to, I’m pretty sure I’d have been writing forever. That said, I hope I didn’t rush things too much; at one point, it felt like I was just racing from plot point to plot point trying to tie it all up without losing momentum, and I’m still not quite sure if I managed to avoid that trap. Also, because I was fretting so much about not turning this chapter into a huge melodrama, I might have overcompensated and made it too clinical instead, but I’ve been tweaking it for so long I really can’t tell. Chances are if I’d have gone for more drama, I would have ended up being just as worried that I took it too far. Anyway, after this chapter there’s one more, and then an epilogue, but I have good hopes (*fingers crossed*) that, now the toughest bit is done, it’s just gonna be riding the rollercoaster all the way down!

I had to make two Drazi ones and we all know it.
Psi Corps Icons! Since I don’t seem to have the time to draw anymore, and I needed my dose of Psi Corps goodness, I made these.
There’s a serious lack of B5 fanvids in general, but there can never be enough Lyta Alexander on the internet. Pat Tallman, you are always amazing.

Ok, it’s been awhile since I’ve even looked for anything new in the Babylon 5 fic section but might I heartily recommend this fic? The last line of the first chapter had me actually sobbing with laughter.
